Everything Apple announced at its ‘Time Flies’ event
The long-awaited event by Apple fans all over the world was live yesterday night and as usual, Apple will never disappoint, they have a line-up of new products and services that will be available worldwide soon. However, Apple didn’t announce new iPhones ‘iPhone 12’ in the event but still, they have plenty of new devices to be unveiled soon. The line-up of products and services Apple got for us includes iPad Air that features a new design, Apple watch series 6, SE, Apple One service bundle, Apple Fitness Plus and Operating System updates.
Apple Watch Series 6
Apple announced the Apple watch series 6 that is designed with your health in mind. This device is powered by an S6 chip- a dual-core processor chip based on A13 Bionic in iPhone 11.
It has the capability to measure your blood oxygen saturation. Besides, it also features an Always-on display that’s 2.5x brighter outdoors, always on Altimeter measurements, Family Setup app for Apple Watch management for parents who have kids without iPhones and more.
The Apple Watch Series 6 price will start at $399 when it goes on sale on September 18th, 2020 for the GPS -only model and $100 more for the GPS and Cellular version.
Apple Watch SE
This is the budget version of the Series 6 and features the same display size as Series 6, fall detection, a compass, and an always-on altimeter. It also has other features including heart rate and fitness tracking and fall detection. It is an upgraded version of Watch Series 3. It will feature last years S5 Chip, there is no blood-oxygen measurement or ECG apps.

Apple Fitness Plus
Apple announced the launch of a new premier subscription service dubbed Fitness Plus. The company says its made for the Apple watch though it can integrate with iPhones, iPads and Apple Tv. The service will be launched towards the end of the year in the US and will become available globally later, most probably next year.
The service will feature 10 different workout types, including yoga, cycling, and dance, and the company says new workouts will be added every week.
It will cost $9.99 per month, or you can opt for a yearly subscription at $79.99.
This is a new subscription bundle that will bring many of the company’s services in one subscription payment at different subscription tiers depending on the service.
This has been priced at $15 per month for Apple’s Music, TV+, Arcade, and 50GB iCloud. There is a family plan at $20 per month with 200GB iCloud. There is also a Premier plan for Apple One with News+ and Fitness+ at $30 per month and 2TB iCloud storage.
Apple iPad Air(2020)
The company announced two new iPads which will run the new iPadOS 14. This iPad Air looks like an iPad Pro with its new design. It has a redesigned body with flat borders that allow it to support the second-generation Apple Pencil. The new iPad also includes a new 10.9-inch Liquid Retina IPS display with 2,360 by 1,640 resolution that includes Apple’s True Tone technology. It features the new A14 Bionic chipset based on the 5nm process technology.
The company claims that its processor will be 2x faster than the most expensive Hp laptop and will offer 40% better CPU performance and 30% better graphics performance than the iPad Air (2019).
The company plans to release the iPad Air (2020) sometime in October. iPad Air (2020) price will start at $599.
iPad 8th Gen
The company also updated its entry-level iPad with a new processor which makes a huge difference. It has the A12 Bionic chip, a Touch ID and all the other features remain the same. Besides, it also supports Apple’s Smart Keyboard cover and Apple Pencil.
The iPad 8th Gen price starts at $329.
Apple announced that it will be releasing a number of software updates as from today, September 16th, including iOS 14, iPadOS 14, watchOS 7, and tvOS 14. The company also said that all of the hardware products announced today will have the new software on board.
