Netflix, the world most popular Tv shows and films streaming service with nearly 200 million subscribers worldwide has quietly removed free trials promo from its platform. Netflix only confirmed that it had decided to end the 30-days free trial in the United States but looking into it, I have noticed that the 30-days free trial is also not available on Netflix Kenya website.

The promo offer was meant to attract new customers which I believe added to the quick growth of the platform, but Netflix is now saying that it will adopt different marketing strategies to try to convince people to subscribe to its streaming service.

“Free trials are not available, but you can still sign up and take advantage of all Netflix has to offer. There are no contracts, no cancellation fees, and no commitments. You have the freedom to change your plan or cancel online at any time if you decide Netflix isn’t for you.

As a Netflix member, all our plans give you access to our full catalogue of TV shows and movies. Choose a plan that works for you and sign up for Netflix!” Netflix help page explained.

However, the drop of 30-days free trial doesn’t mean that you will not be able to enjoy Netflix content for free if you are just starting out. Instead, Netflix has a dedicated website where potential or new customers can watch movies and Tv shows for free without even creating an account. This dedicated site was created in September, You can check at Netflix Watch Free here.
