Realme Kenya set to Launch the Realme C15 on 18th September

Realme as a brand says that its committed to becoming a tech-trendsetter that dares to leap and uses the “mobile phone + AIoT” dual-drive strategy to create a trendy lifestyle for the younger generation around the world. This said we can all agree with Realme company since it has been launching new devices that meet industry standards at affordable prices for the younger generation, and now, they are set to launch the Realme C15 in Kenya on 18th September 2020 with official sale date starting at 21st September. This comes after Realme Kenya recently launched Realme 6, Realme C11, Realme C3 and Realme Buds Air Neo.


Realme C15 Specifications and Price in Kenya

Realme Kenya has not announced anything concerning the price of this device or Specs. However, we have put in place some of the specifications Realme C15 will come with and the expected price in Kenya based on its launch on other markets. 

The device comes with a 6.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Realme C15 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of ROM that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB) with a dedicated slot. The Realme C15 runs Android 10 based on Realme UI and is powered by a 6000mAh non-removable battery. The Realme C15 supports proprietary fast charging.

In terms of camera, the Realme C15 on the rear packs a Quad camera set-up with a 13-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture; a second 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.25 aperture; a third 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a fourth 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has phase detection autofocus. It sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.

Connectivity options on this device include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, Micro-USB, 2G/3G/4G. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and a fingerprint sensor on the back. It also supports a dual SIM and will come in Marine Blue and Seagull Silver colours.


Pricing and Availability in Kenya 

As we said, Realme C15 will be launched on September 18 and official sales will start later this month both in online stores like Jumia and offline stores. We expect it to be available at KSH 14,999.
